No more spiral staircase...it was lovely and unique, but just not functional for most guests, and moving furniture up and down was quite a task.

April and May...and half of June were very busy months for us on the island. As you'll see, we have completed a few major updates and improvements and we couldn't be happier with how everything has turned out. Anthony built a new staircase to the loft, so now the Primary Suite is completely self=contained and can be used as another fully private unit within the property. We also expanded the main kitchen, installed a new stainless sink, solid French Oak countertops, a beautiful subway tile, and even more supplies - it's a true "Chef's Kitchen".

We can't wait to get you back to Sint Maarten so you can see all of the improvements. Here are some pics that tell [part of] the story. You'll see more in the new Gallery section of our site, along with a new video and photos that we completed right after the renovations.

The spiral stairs are gone, and the foyer/entry space is now enhanced with more storage space for all of our beach chairs, umbrellas, bags, and coolers, etc.

The stairway turned out perfectly, serving the space much better than the old spiral staircase previously located in the foyer.

Built a new King bed in the loft, and new furniture in Studio C. We also added a "click-clack" sofabed in B and C for additional capacity if needed - although the extra beds are really intended for kids or young adults. Studio B has a brand new Kitchenette, and we've added a full size refrigerator. And Vanna White earned her trophy - again - as the best damn van in the land. She hauled the new kitchen, raw materials and construction debris, couldn't have done it without her :}
